THE FIRST PRODUCT

The first "set" of overlays included 65 illustrations, which could generate hundreds of impressive design combinations. This initial collection of illustration overlays was not intended to serve as a product "prototype"--it was simply a "home-made" visual tool to use exclusively with her design clients!

During a sales seminar presented to a group of design professionals, Sally used the overlays as overhead transparencies. The impeccable artistry of these design visuals created a "stir" of excitement, particularly with one of the seminar attendees. This led to the actual "birth' of MASTERVISIONS as a product.

A very excited sales manager, who saw the overlays as a great advantage for raising the sales closing performance and confidence of her staff of decorators, made the first purchase of the system! The first official order was for 11 sets of overlays in the Fall of 1990.
